Jyotiling Industry Pvt. Ltd. manufactures high-quality mild steel transformer tanks and associated plates for distribution and power transformers. Our tanks are engineered for structural integrity, oil tightness, vacuum withstand capability, and long-term corrosion resistance, fabricated to customer drawings and international/Indian standards.
We supply complete tanks (plain, corrugated, or radiator-type) as well as cut-to-size plates and corrugated fin-wall panels.
Materials :
• Primary material: Hot-rolled mild steel plates conforming to IS 2062 (latest edition) – Grades E250 / E350 (A / BR / B0 / C quality as required), low-carbon, fully killed or semi-killed for excellent weldability.
• Optional: Stainless steel (for corrosive/coastal environments) or special grades on request.
• Plates are ultrasonically tested (where specified) to eliminate internal defects.
• Thickness range typically handled: 3 mm to 25 mm (higher thicknesses available for large power transformer tanks).

• Conventional plain rectangular / octagonal tanks
• Corrugated wall tanks (fin-wall type) – integrated cooling without external radiators
• Tanks with detachable radiators / cooling tubes
• Conservator tanks, under-base channels, and complete tank assemblies
• Custom designs including bell-type, shaped tanks for transport constraints, and tanks with magnetic shielding provisions
Key Design & Technical Features :
• Designed to withstand full vacuum (typically 760 mm Hg) and positive pressure without permanent deformation
• Adequate stiffeners / reinforcement ribs or corrugations to control deflection under vacuum and oil pressure
• Lifting lugs, jacking pads, and skid bases designed for safe handling of oil-filled transformers
• Inspection covers / manholes with bolted flanges and oil-resistant gaskets
• Provisions for bushings, conservator, PRV, valves, oil level indicators, and grounding
• Interior surfaces prepared for oil-resistant coating; exterior for multi-coat corrosion protection
• Tolerance on dimensions as per IS 1852 / customer specification
